Igor Tchetuev, born in Sevastopol, won the Grand Prix at the Vladimi Krainev Young Pianists Competition and the audience prize at the Anton Rubinstein Competition. He has recorded the complete piano sonatas of Alfred Schnittke and began the project of recording all the Beethoven piano sonatas in 2005.
