The Storioni Trio which consists of Pianist Bart van de Roer, violinist Wouter Vossen and cellist Marc Vossen performing Beethoven: Piano Trio No. 2 in G and Piano Trio No. 5 in D.
The Storioni Trio Amsterdam, founded in 1995, has been working extensively with members of the Emerson Quartet and with such renowned musicians as Isaac Stern, Mstitslav Rostropovich and Menahem Pressler. This first recording of the Storioni Trio Amsterdam on the PentaTone label is also the first ever multi-channel DSD recording of some of Beethoven's best known piano trios to be released on hybrid SACD.
