2014 marks the 40th year since the inception of legendary Rock & Roll Hall of Famers Blondie fronted by Deborah Harry! The band is kicking off the celebration with this very special release. Greatest Hits: Deluxe Redux / Ghosts of Download is a unique package containing 2 separate albums that salute both Blondie's past and their present. Greatest Hits: Deluxe Redux is a collection of the very best of Blondie revisited and recorded anew by the band over the past couple of years (except for original 1999 recording of Maria) while they were recording Ghosts of Download, a collection of brand new music. The new music was aided and abetted by some of the world's most unique artists headed up by Beth Ditto (The Gossip), Miss Guy, and the Columbian turntablists/hip hop collective Systema Solar.

The cover of the Greatest Hits album celebrates the late Andy Warhol as it features the actual portrait of Blondie front woman Deborah Harry that hangs today in her house. The elaborate futuristic artwork of Ghosts of Download was done by none other than DC Comics' own J.H. Williams III.

This 150g Color Vinyl 2LP Set includes "Live CBGB '77" on DVD, 2 color 4-page inserts, full color inner sleeves, vintage 1979 Gig poster, as well as the full album on a limited time download card including Blondie's cover of the Frankie Goes to Hollywood classic "Relax".
