180g Vinyl Reissue!
Eat to the Beat is the fourth studio album by the American rock band Blondie. It was certified Platinum in the United States, where it spent a year on the Billboard album chart. Although it peaked at No.17, it was one of Billboard's top 10 albums of 1980. It also hit No.1 on the United Kingdom album chart in October 1979 and was certified Platinum by the BPI. It contains the tracks "Dreaming," "The Hardest Part," and "Atomic."
Lets face it: this is Blondies world and we just live in it. For the last four decades, Blondie has become and still remains a true national treasure; a punk band from New York City whose influence both shaped and continues to inform the worlds of music, fashion and art. Debbie Harry and Chris Stein have kept their ears to the ground, creating trends, never following them. They helped push punk onto the dance floor at the dawn of the new wave era and introduced a wider audience to hip-hop sounds, all the while building a catalog of enduring pop hits along the way.
