Recorded in New York, Live in Concert 1979 by Canned Heat is absolutely one of the finest blues and rock concert albums ever caught on tape of this celebrated boogie band. This amazing show is a genuine snapshot of these incredible musicians during their late seventies era, also known as "The Burger Brothers era" due to the favorite food of band members Bob Hite and Hollywood Fats.

This amazing tour masterwork features key original members of this celebrated band like Bob Hite, Fito de la Parra and Larry Taylor, plus the incredible guitar work of Hollywood Fats (Michael Mann) and keyboard and vocal presence of Jay Spell.

This amazing concert has never been released on a vinyl recording, therefore, Friday Music is very pleased to present Canned Heat Live in Concert 1979 on first-time-ever Orange Heat vinyl, packaged in a first-time stunning LP cover.

Produced by Canned Heat's Fito de la Parra, this stellar concert recording is also impeccably mastered by Joe Reagoso (Canned Heat/Johnny Winter), featuring live performances like "On the Road Again," "Going Up the Country," "Don't Know Where She Went," "Bullfrog Blues," and other Canned Heat favorites.
