Limited Edition 180g Audiophile Vinyl LP!
Celebrate 4 Decades Of Their Masterpiece Chicago 16!
Mastered From Original Chicago Records Master Tapes By Friday Music's Joe Reagoso & Lee Loughnane!

Chicago 16 was an amazing comeback story for Chicago and one of the biggest selling albums in a long line of multiplatinum smash albums. After the tragic loss of Terry Kath in 1978, and a major label change to Warner Bros/Full Moon, plus the addition of new member Bill Champlin joining forces, they were back on the top of the charts with the amazing ballad "Hard To Say I'm Sorry".

Featuring the award winning line-up of Robert Lamm (lead vocals/keyboards), Peter Cetera (lead vocals/bass), Bill Champlin (lead vocals/guitars-keys), the legendary horns of James Pankow (trombone), Lee Loughnane (trumpet) and Walter Parazaider (saxophone/woodwinds), plus Danny Seraphine (drums), Chicago 16 is undoubtedly one of the biggest selling albums of the eighties and also one of the most revered offerings in their huge catalog.

Buoyed by the success of more huge hits like "Love Me Tomorrow", "What Can I Say", "Rescue You" and "Getaway", Chicago filled this recording session up with so many great songs, it truly became one of the most important albums in their five decade plus career.

Further smashes like the powerful "What You're Missing" and the stellar "Waiting For You To Decide" all truly make this fine album even more of a treasure trove of classic rock enjoyment.

Friday Music is very pleased to revisit their masterpiece Chicago16. Mastered impeccably from the original Chicago Records master tapes by Joe Reagoso at Friday Music Studios and Capitol Records in Hollywood, CA, along with Chicago's Lee Loughnane, this super limited edition album is truly a thrilling audiophile treat for any fan of great sounding rock albums.

For this special limited edition, Friday Music have also included the original full color album cover in gatefold style featuring the lyrics and artwork, complete with all the great music you will always remember from this historic release.
