Clearaudio honors great musical artists with their new Celebrity Series turntables! Their novel first edition was created especially for the multi-award-winning, U.S.-American jazz guitarist Al Di Meola.

Shaped like the iconic Les Paul electric guitar pictured on Al Di Meola's Elegant Gypsy album cover, this unique, high-feature Celebrity Series table was developed in close collaboration with Al himself.

Inside the turntable, you'll find state-of-the-art Clearaudio technology derived from their Reference Jubilee and Concept Signature models. The acrylic platter is driven by a DC AiR motor and flat belt that passes through the new Tacho-Speed-Control (TSC) system. TSC continuously monitors the platter's speed in real-time, allowing immediate adjustments to changing factors such as stylus drag, belt tension, and temperature fluctuations. Additionally, TSC performs an automatic speed calibration during each startup. The Celebrity turntable motor is suspended with multiple O-rings (referred to as IMS-Innovative Motor Suspension), that isolates motor-to-chassis vibrations. This design, as well as TSC, is adapted from the Clearaudio Reference Jubilee turntable.

The unique design of the Al Di Meola Celebrity turntable combines functionality with aesthetics, including black and rosewood finishes and a volume control knob resembling an electric guitar's knobs. With a simple press, you can start the turntable, switch between speeds (33 1/3 and 45 RPM) and put it into standby mode. Additional features include a special version of the Clearaudio Profiler tonearm and new Celebrity MM cartridge.

The Al Di Meola Celebrity turntable package is limited to 1,000 units worldwide. Included is a matching all-analog, 180-gram, flamenco red, numbered collector's edition Elegant Gypsy vinyl album by Al Di Meola from Impex Records and a guitar pick. This LP is exclusive to purchasers of this table and not available anywhere else. It is a true work of art, created by Al Di Meola, Impex Records, and Clearaudio.
