This album was recorded on March 26, 1972 at the Winterland as a Benefit Concert to raise awareness and funds for prisoners. Crosby and Nash had just finished recording their first album 'Crosby & Nash' which was released a week after this concert on April 5th. The benefit concert was broadcast by KSAN Radio of San Francisco and has become a classic recording with the surprise appearance of Neil Young, who joined the duo onstage to sing four songs from his latest album 'Harvest.'
