An expansive set of music by 77-year-old jazz trumpet legend Dr. Eddie Henderson encompassing jazz, funk, boogaloo, blues, ballads, modal, tin pan alley and more. Surrounded by a stellar ensemble with pianist and NEA jazz master Kenny Barron, alto saxophonist Donald Harrison, bassist Essiet Essiet, and drummer Mike Clark, Henderson delivers an album of transcendent performances.

"Be Cool" was produced by Paul Stache and Damon Smith and recorded live in New York at Sear Sound's Studio C on a Sear-Avalon custom console at 96KHz/24bit and mixed to ½" analog tape using a Studer mastering deck.
