Enzo Pietropaoli is an Italian jazz bassist. In 1961 he moved to Rome and then debuted professionally in 1975 with "Trio Di Roma" (Danilo Rea and Roberto Gatto). Here he performs with the Enzo Pietropaoli Quartet. This extraordinary quartet consists of Fulvio Sigurta on trumpet, Julian Mazzariello on piano, Alessandro Paternesi on drums, and Enzo Pietropaoli on double bass. Their first album released in 2011 received great praise from critics and jazz lovers alike. That year Enzo Pietropaoli and Fulvio Sigurta were also nominated as the Best Double Bassist and Best New Talent in Top Jazz 2011.
