We're very excited to share a new documentary on boutique audiophile label Impex Records from videographer and audiophile YouTuber Jana ♥ Hi-Fi! This incredible film features interviews with the figures who make Impex Records possible, including mastering engineers Bernie Grundman and Chris Bellman, the teams at Record Technology, Inc., Fidelity Record Pressing & Stoughton Printing Company, QC director Bob Donnelly, designer Robert Sliger, and, of course, the woman behind it all, Abey Fonn. You'll also hear from artists Al Di Meola and Patricia Barber, who reflect on the care and craftsmanship that Impex brings to their recordings.

This stunning film offers fans a behind-the-scenes look at how Impex LPs are produced, from the laborious process of seeking approval for a new project to discovering the available source material, remastering and pressing the high-quality records. Through this documentary, fans can witness firsthand the special care and attention to detail that Impex puts into each and every release. Abey Fonn, Robert Sliger and others supervise the process from beginning to end, laser-focused on the smallest details to ensure that the finished product that arrives in the customer's hands meets the highest standards of sonic excellence and visual & tactile impact.
