The albums have been re-mastered from the original analog tape mixes by Grammy-winning master engineer Bernie Grundman, who was the mastering engineer on many of the Tijuana Brass and Alpert albums. All releases, several of which have been out of print for a number of years, are presented with their original artwork, making this collection a must-have for Herb Alpert fans.
The group's third album was released in 1964. The group's name was Herb Alpert's Tijuana Brass" for this title. Alpert's first top ten hit, and 5th gold record, the album continued to move the group's Mexican sound to more of an easy-listening style. This album features covers of such songs as "The Girl from Ipanema", "Hello Dolly", "All My Loving" (by Lennon and McCartney), and 'I've Grown Accustomed To Her Face."
