In Stock An In Stock item is available to ship normally within 24 business hours.
Preorder A Preorder is an item that has not yet been released. Typically the label will set a projected release date (that is subject to change). If a projected release date is known, we will include this in the description in red. Other Preorders are set to release 'TBA.' This means that release date is yet 'To Be Announced'. The Preorder can be released anywhere between weeks, months or years from its initial announcement.
Backordered An Out Of Stock item is an item that we normally have available to ship but we are temporarily out of. We do not have a specific date when it will be coming.
Awaiting Repress Awaiting repress titles are in the process of being repressed by the label. No ETA is available at this time.
Expected On When an item is Out Of Stock and we have an estimated date when our stock should arrive, we list that date on our website in the part's description. It is not guaranteed.
Special Order A Special Order item is an item that we do not stock but can order from the manufacturer. Typical order times are located within the product description.

Stereophile 2019 Product of the Year WINNER for Best Accessory

The OREA Series eliminates parasitic vibrations, and providing greater sound clarity and focus. The OREAÂ’s are ideal for electronic components including Amplifiers, DACÂ’s, CD Players, Speakers, and Turntables. Made of machined stainless steel, these isolators have a low-profile design to minimize any increase in height.

Each OREA model are designed for different weight capacities. They each have a colored ring on the bottom isolator that denotes the model and weight capacity. The OREA series are packaged individually to allow greater flexibility when determining the number of units to use. IsoAcoustics recommends a minimum of 3 units under each component, depending on weight.

The upper flange of the OREAÂ’s are designed to provide a suction cup like effect and adhere to the underside of the component, while the lower flange adheres to the supporting surface. All the energy is managed within the core of the OREAÂ’s, which are tuned to work within specific weight ranges. This results in greater sound clarity and a more open soundstage providing authentic, three-dimensional sound.

The existing feet on an audio component may connect well and fit nicely around the perimeter of the OREA isolator. Alternatively, you may get better performance by either removing the feet entirely or placing the OREAÂ’s beside the existing feet to have them connect directly to the chassis or base of the component.

Weight Capacity

The OREAÂ’s are designed to be used in multiples to match the weight of the component or speaker. The total weight capacity is calculated as Total Weight Capacity = Weight cap. per isolator x Qty of Isolators

Qty of OREA Isolators Graphite
4 lbs (1.8 KG) /unit
Bronze
8 lbs (3.6 KG) /unit
Indigo
16 lbs (7.2 KG) /unit
Bordeaux
32 lbs (14.4 KG) /unit
3 12 lbs (5.4 kg) 24 lbs (10.8 kg) 48 lbs (21.6 kg) 96 lbs (43.5 kg)
4 16 lbs (7.2 kg) 32 lbs (14.4 kg) 64 lbs (28.8 kg) 128 lbs (58 kg)
5 20 lbs (9 kg) 40 lbs (18 kg) 80 lbs (36 kg) 160 lbs (72.5 kg)
6 24 lbs (10.8 kg) 48 lbs (21.6 kg) 96 lbs (43.2 kg) 192 lbs (87 kg)

The specified weight limits are determined based on the performance curves. The products are able to support additional weight without harm, but the isolation performance is begins to decline above the specified weights.

It is common to use 3 or 4 OREA isolators for each component or speaker, but keep in mind that it is most important to stay within the weight capacity of the OREA isolator.

The weight distribution of the component can also be taken into account. If for example the component is heaviest at the back, then it is common to use 3 isolators with 2 positioned at the back corners and 1 positioned front/center.

They offer fantastic isolation support and vibration control to a huge amount of equipment and applications at a price that is simply unheard of in this somewhat overpriced industry
..the sound acquired another measure of clarity and transparency: the result was similar to the effect of putting GAIAs under my speakersÂ…
..The IsoAcoustics isolator pods are easily recommendable. Slip some under your gear, and the audible results are both obvious and worthwhile.

Differences Between the ISO-PUCK and the OREA Series

The ISO-PUCK was originally designed for the pro audio and Musical Instrument (MI) channel, and used with studio monitors, guitar/bass amps, DJ turntables etc. The OREA, on the other hand is designed for home audio. The performance curve for the OREA models are narrower in weight range and will provide a slightly stronger sonic benefit in itÂ’s range than the ISO-PUCKs. The more effective isolation results in more sound clarity and focus.

Benefits of Equipment Isolation

Equipment can be sensitive to vibrations and forces. Removing parasitic vibrations releases new levels of sound clarity and openness when used with amplifiers, DACÂ’s, CD Players, turntables and more.
