180 Gram Pressing! Analogue Remastering (AAA)!
Joe Henderson became one of the most influential jazz musicians of the late 20th century after he became an overnight sensation as a member of Horace Silver's ensemble on the release of Silver's "Song For My Father."
The great John Scofield once said about Henderson, "Joe Henderson is the essence of jazz. He embodies all the elements that came together in his generation: the virtuosity of hard bop and the avant-garde. He can be harmonically abstract and yet keep to the roots. He is my inspiration."
All of the musicians on this release, which include jazz greats like Chick Corea and Ron Carter, prove equal talent in the art of improvisation. Each musician has their own space and each brilliantly fills it.
