Revered blues, folk, roots rock and Americana music legend Jorma Kaukonen returns with his first solo album in 5 years. A member of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and cofounder of both the Jefferson Airplane and classic roots band Hot Tuna, Jorma was named one of Rolling Stone Magazine's Top 100 Guitarists of All Time. He has followed his creative muse during a music career spanning more than 50 years, which befits the title of this 2015 release, "Ain't In No Hurry."
Backed by the A-Team and Grammy winning production of Larry Campbell and recorded at Kaukonen's Fur Peace Ranch, the album features a mix of classic American songs, blues, Jorma originals and rockers - all of which frame his life, development as an artist, and where he stands today. Special guests include Jorma's longtime Hot Tuna partner Jack Casady, mando wizard Barry Mitterhoff, Larry Campbell on all matter of strings, Teresa Williams on backing vocals, Myron Hart and Justin Guip.
