2023 Pressing Reissued on Kate Bush's Record Label!
Lacquers Cut from 2018 Remasters by Bernie Grundman!
Pressed at Record Industry!
Kate Bush and Fish People Records are proud and excited to announce new 2023 pressings of all 10 of Kate Bush's albums.
"It's very exciting to see people appreciating the physical presence of an album released on vinyl. It's how it's always been for me, especially when I was a teenager. The whole buzz of the record store was part of the experience. Buying an album was an event." — Kate Bush
The records are all pressed on 180g vinyl at the world-renowned Record Industry plant in the Netherlands. New lacquers were cut from the 2018 remasters by Bernie Grundman and overseen by mastering engineer James Guthrie.
50 Words For Snow is Kate's 10th studio album on her own label, Fish People. It was released on November 21, 2011. 50 Words For Snow features seven brand new tracks set against a background of falling snow. The total running time is 65 minutes.
50 Words for Snow is such a strange pop record, it's all but impossible to find peers. While it shares sheer ambition with Scott Walker's The Drift and PJ Harvey's Let England Shake, it sounds like neither; Bush's album is equally startling because its will toward the mysterious and elliptical is balanced by its beguiling accessibility.
