The debut album from jazz musician Ken McIntyre, Looking Ahead was originally released in 1961 and features fellow saxophonist Eric Dolphy alongside McIntyre. Included on the album are five McIntyre originals plus the George and Ira Gershwin penned standard "They All Laughed."
This new edition of the album is released as part of the Original Jazz Classics Series on 180-gram vinyl pressed at RTI with all-analog mastering from the original tapes at Cohearent Audio and a Stoughton Tip-On Jacket.
