King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard are an Australian psychedelic rock band formed in 2010, known for exploring genres, staging energetic shows and building a prolific discography, having released 17 studio albums, 7 live albums, 2 compilations and 2 EPs.

Demos Vol. 1 + Vol. 2 is a collection of demos spanning 2017-2020. In 2020, they released several albums into the public domain as part of their "Bootlegger" project in which they allowed anyone to press the records. This is one of those albums.
