The album's mood overall harkens to a catchy 60s-pop era, a la the Rascals or Sly & the Family Stone. Think of it as Lake Street Dive's post-pandemic party album. That fast pace, but not the positive message, is broken only on the string-arranged closer, the epic multi-layered power ballad 'Set Sail (Prometheus & Eros).'
