Acoustic Guitar Collaboration on 180g Vinyl LP!
First Time on Vinyl!
An exceptional and unique album of its kind, Three Guitars, like its title would suggest, showcases the talents of three great guitarists, John Abercrombie, Badi Assad and Larry Coryell. A harmonious journey that celebrates the guitar's versatility, the album features highlight tracks like "After the Rain" which serves as a ground for intricate exchange between the three musicians, and "Exercise in Fourths," a beautiful duet piece featuring Coryell and Assad.
This release will be available on vinyl for the first time, as a 180g LP.
Audiophile Note: For the entirety of the recording, Larry Coryell is positioned on the left, John Abercrombie on the right and Badi Assad is center. This was recorded in an old church in the heart of a very cold New York City winter so if you have a really great system and a great set of ears, you may hear the humming of the heaters. If so, kudos to you and those speakers.
It's rare for three guitarists of this caliber to be assembled for a recording date... Highly recommended.
This is a great musical experience—don't miss it!
