Super Rare 180g Classic Records Pressing!

After the explosion created by Led Zeppelin I and II the previous year, this set had rock fans eagerly awaiting its release in the Fall of 1970. Producing the elaborate die-cut/pinwheel album cover artwork insisted on by the band delayed getting this album to the its anxious public. Fortunately, Led Zeppelin III lived up to expectations and was the next step on the path of success for the biggest rock band of the 1970s. The album was recorded by engineer Andy Johns in both Memphis (Argent Studios) and London.
