Madonna's 6th album was released in October 1994. The pop-diva collaborated with Dallas Austin, Babyface, Dave "Jam" Hall, and Nellee Hooper in an attempt to develop a more mainstream sound.

Bedtime Stories was nominated for Best Pop Album at the 38th Grammy Awards. The album was a commercial success debuting and peaking at number three on the Billboard 200. The lead single from the album, "Secret", gave Madonna her 35th consecutive top ten single on the UK Singles Chart. "Take A Bow" spent 7 weeks at number one on the U.S. Billboard Hot 100.
