When That's The Way Love Is, from the album M.P.G. became such a huge hit, Motown issued an album of the same name, and included the title song as its centerpiece. The album, which went Top 20 R&B, is also significant for Marvins cover versions of recent pop hits, particularly Abraham, Martin and John (a U.K. hit) and Yesterday, now recognized as one of the greatest interpretations of a Beatles song.
