This performance, originally recorded and released as a 78, was dubbed directly from the original lacquers for Columbia's first LP release in June of 1948. Fifty years later - to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the LP - we have struck another dub directly from the master. The performance by Milstein, Walter and The New York Phil is legendary and an obvious choice for release on LP in 1948 as well as 50 years later.

Selections: Concerto in E Minor, Op. 64.
