Michael Garson has a diverse musical background. He is a graduate of Brooklyn College and holds degrees in Music and Education. He studied with a number of renowned classical teachers including Leonard Eisner if the Julliard School of Music, as well as with famous jazz musicians. Long-term musical associations include David Bowie, Stanley Clarke and "Free Flight."
