Mick Ronson originally achieved commercial success as David Bowies guitarist in backing band The Spiders of Mars during the Ziggy Stardust era. In 1975, Ronson released his second solo album Play Dont Worry. Comprised mostly of covers by such artists as The Velvet Underground and Little Richard, Ronson meticulously reimagines these songs in his own musical style. A genius instrumentalist, Play Dont Worry is a supreme example of Ronsons abilities at the height of his career.
