PURE 2 - the classic, all-purpose cleaning fluid. Specially formulated for vinyl with a small amount of alcohol for a more effective cleaning of your LPs and 45s.

Great for cleaning vinyl records with the Record Doctor, Nitty Gritty or VPI vacuum powered cleaning machines.

The Nitty Gritty Pure 2 cleaning fluid contains 10% alcohol mixed with distilled water for cleaning new records to help remove mold release compound and for REALLY dirty or old records, to kill mold or fungus that may be inhabiting your latest rare LP find!, detergent based record cleaning solution made with distilled water. This highly recommended for use with Nitty Gritty and VPI machines.

Not for use with 78rpm records.

Shipping fee borders on gouging

Everything was fine regarding the order. It arrived undamaged. However, paying a shipping fee of $16.45 on an order that was shipped ground is ridiculous. It nearly doubled the price of the item I purchased.

My “go to” RCM fluid is still “The One”

Many years ago a business associate and I conducted a shootout of various record cleaning fluids at an audio shop we used to both work at and we found that the NG Pure 2 was vastly superior sonically than the other two brands that shall go nameless! In the years since I flirted with a different fluid brands here and there but recently I was forced to go back to Pure 2 simply because the previous brand I had been selling through my business decided to play games and became difficult to do business with. In any event, I looked around and decided to go back to my old friend Pure 2 and wham! That wonderful sound came back. Records are quiet as they can be but they now possess a very engaging, almost sweet tone to the music. It’s hard to describe but needless to say this stuff is the real deal. I highly recommend it!!!

One of the best record cleaning formula's out there.

Always works good at cleaning records I use with KAB EV-1. It's much better than other brands that are more like water that bead off the record. I works real good at penetrating the groves and not running when you flip the record. I've damaged labels with the other brands out there just by getting them wet. This stuff just works.
