Super Limited Edition 180g Audiophile Vinyl LP!
Impeccably Mastered by Friday Music's Joe Reagoso!
In 1986, the smash debut of Poisons "Look What The Cat Dragged In set the metal and hard rock world on fire, becoming a multi-platinum LP for the powerful rock quartet. The amazing masterwork was a stellar beginning for the band, who continue to have an enduring & successful career three decades on.
Fronted by the driving lead vocals of Bret Michaels, the multi-talented Bobby Dahl on bass, the power drums of Rikki Rockett and the guitar chops of C.C. DeVille, Look What The Cat Dragged In proved to be worth its weight in gold and platinum sales.
Featuring three mega hits with "I Want Action," "Talk Dirty To Me" and the power ballad "I Won't Forget You," this album is known as one of the first hard rock/metal albums to bridge the old school with the new & is still considered one of the strongest hard rock debuts ever.
Friday Music is no stranger to the superstar sounds of Poison, therefore we are very pleased to continue the Poison 180 Gram Audiophile Vinyl series and celebrate 35 years with their stellar smash debut Look What The Cat Dragged In pressed on super limited edition 180 Gram Audiophile Vinyl.

Celebrate 35 years of Poison's Look What The Cat Dragged In 180 Gram Audiophile Vinyl! Exclusively available from your friends at Friday Music.
Poison's debut album took its cues from the big, anthemic pop hooks of Def Leppard and the rebellious street-tough posturing of Mötley Crüe, as well as a raunchy, adolescent obsession with sex. But Poison really carved out their niche as the ultimate glam metal band, using tight-assed boogie and over-the-top visual extravagance - costumes, makeup, teased hair, and so on - to an even greater extent than most of their contemporaries. It was derivative and formulaic, to be sure, but Poison wholeheartedly embraced that formula from the beginning with a conviction often missing in their peers, and it's that ridiculous, good-time excess that keeps Look What the Cat Dragged In's catchiest songs, especially the party anthems 'Talk Dirty to Me' and 'I Want Action,' just as much fun today, if not more so.
