This album is an absolute reference album for Italian jazz. The protagonists are the five most famous Italian jazz musicians in the world: Enrico Rava (trumpet and flugelhorn), Paolo Fresu (trumpet and flugelhorn), Stefano Bollani (piano), Enzo Pietropaoli (double bass) and Roberto Gatto (drums).
This album, produced by Via Veneto Jazz, has been remastered by Giulio Cesare Ricci using the Signoricci system, entirely analog and tube. The master was recorded with the Ampex ATR 102 2 tracks 1/2 inch 30ips. The choice to make two LPs is because the musical program lasts about an hour; to get the best quality Giulio Cesare Ricci had to distribute it on four sides. This allows the LPs to have larger and deeper grooves, guaranteeing the original dynamics that is fundamental for this repertoire. It's absolutely a must have!
