Hobo contains ten delightful original compositions and two covers (the Commodores' 'Brick House' and Fleetwood Mac's 'Oh Well'). The songs were recorded in St. Peter's Episcopal Church, NYC (Nov 18–22, 1996) using minimal microphone recording techniques without limiters, overdubs, compressors, or multi-tracking. Additionally, the one-step process and care given to this LP's production yields noticeably quiet vinyl playback. The final result is a more realistic presentation that draws a direct connection to the music and the artists performing these compositions.
