180g Vinyl LP!
The Bluesville Series from Craft Recordings & Acoustic Sounds!
(AAA) Lacquers Cut from the Original Tapes by Matthew Lutthans at The Mastering Lab!
Pressed at QRP!

Mr. Scrapper's Blues is Scrapper Blackwell's second album and was originally released on Bluesville Records in 1962. This stripped-down album features only Blackwell on vocals, guitar, and piano. Producer Arthur Rosenbaum says, "[Blackwell's] blues are less direct and accessible but are more subtle and personal; their meaning has grown more profound over the years."

This album has been pressed on 180-gram vinyl at QRP in partnership with Acoustic Sounds and is housed in a replica tip-on jacket.

Manufacturing Note: Due to the nature of this recording, as well as the age of the tape, there are slight anomalies in places, especially on track A2. This is a recording flaw and not a defect in your pressing. We hope that this minor noise will not distract you from enjoying this classic album.
