After getting his feet underneath him, Vaughan formed Triple Threat, the ensemble that morphed into Double Trouble — the very group he’d perform with for the remainder of his career. Having dropped from a quintet to a trio, extra demands were placed on Vaughan’s role and playing—requirements he was more than comfortable to accommodate.
