Live Album on Limited Edition Deep Purple Double LP!
Part Bonnie Raitt, part Janis Joplin, part Aretha Franklin... need we go on? One of the top-selling titles in the Austin City Limits series is now available on color vinyl for the first time!
This live album features songs from blues vocalist Susan Tedeschi's June 17, 2003 date at Austin City Limits in Austin, TX. Selections include the Stevie Wonder song "Love's in Need of Love Today" and Bob Dylan's "Don't Think Twice, It's All Right." Closing the set is Tedeschi's rendition of John Prine's "Angel from Montgomery."
Susan's debut album earned her a prestigious Grammy® nomination for Best New Artist in 2000 (she lost to Christina Aguilera!). Part Bonnie Raitt, part Janis Joplin, part Aretha Franklin, Susan can belt out a song without losing control in a way that gives her an edge. No other singer compares. If you have another suggestion, let us know. Add to her vocal prowess her guitar slinger skills, and you have a rare combination in a contemporary female performer!
