Released in 1976, the self-titled album for The Jacksons was the 12th studio album released by the group, but was their first released under the name The Jacksons instead of The Jackson 5. The name was changed since Jermaine stayed with Motown when the remainder of the group moved to CBS...he was replaced by younger brother Randy. The album contains the upbeat song "Enjoy Yourself".
The Jacksons was the group's first album to be certified as Gold by RIAA.
