This CD is a Mobile Fidelity exclusive in the United States and contains two LPs: It's The Searchers, released in 1964, and the 1965 release, Take Me For What I'm Worth. Both recordings were originally on Pye Records. One of the most popular acts in the Liverpool club scene back in the early 1960s, The Searchers built their sound around American R&B, rock, country, soul and rockabilly. Their famed harmonies, combined with excellent musical skills, sent them to the top of the charts several times.
