After releasing a plethora of great recordings throughout the '70s, The Tubes finally received the massive audience they deserved with their 1981 smash hit The Completion Backward Principle.
The album received wide airplay and two huge hit singles: "Take To You Later" and "Don't Want To Wait Anymore" rode the top of the rock and pop charts, as the successful album would be one of the most important albums of their long career.
Produced by hit maker David Foster, The Completion Backward Principle was a fast moving rocker and featured more great songs like the funk rock masterpiece "A Matter Of Pride" and the power ballad "Amnesia", as well as "Think About Me", "Attack Of The 50 Foot Woman" and "Power Tools."
