Twin Peaks Side A 10" Vinyl EP (Pink Vinyl)

Special (COVID-19) Edition Features 4 (Not 10) Artists Celebrating 7th Year Of Beloved Pink Vinyl Initiative For Gilda's Club NYC

Ten Bands re-issue their albums on limited edition pink vinyl, all for one cause. This is the 7th year for the initiative that has raised over $250,000 for Gilda's Club NYC, an organization that provides community support for both those diagnosed with cancer and their caretakers. It is named after comedian Gilda Radner, who passed away from cancer at the age of 43 in 1989. In response to the coronavirus outbreak, they have transitioned their in-person cancer support program to a virtual program to continue to provide free services to cancer patients who are among the most vulnerable populations of this pandemic.

This year's set is a modified "special edition" with respect to the COVID-19 pandemic featuring 4 (not 10) fantastic titles by much-loved artists, including, Fitz and the Tantrums' Pickin' Up The Pieces 10th Anniversary (Dangerbird), Brian Fallon's Local Honey (Lesser Known Records), Twin Peaks' Side A (Grand Jury), and Chiodos' All's Well That Ends Well 15th Anniversary (Equal Vision), each to be released on 10" or 12" pink vinyl packages.

Side A is Twin Peaks' first truly new material since the release of last year's Lookout Low. Part of a two EP series called Side A/Side B, which will be compiled together upon the release of EP2 later this year, this EP features contributions from other Chicago artists such as Ohmme, Lala Lala, V.V. Lightbody and more. About the EP's featured track, Twin Peaks explained: "Whistle in the Wind is a song about the unique feeling of isolation you feel in a major city during the past few months. It seems everyone, everywhere was going through the same thing, alone but right next to each other."
