New & Improved to block even more electrical and RF interference!
The New Walker Audio High Definition Links Reference Plus are the ultimate solution for blocking electrical and RF Interference!!
Walker Audio Reference High Definition Links Reference Plus use a new silver capacitor. All wiring and spades are ultra-pure silver subjected to a slow-immersion cryogenic process. Sold in pairs matched to .05 percent.
Walker Audio High Definitions Links Reference Plus prevent very high frequency electronic noises (which are emitted from all electronics) and RFI from being transmitted to your speakers. They eliminate the unwanted noise from the signal path, while allowing the pure music signal to pass through unaffected.
The music will become more natural sounding. The electronic glare will disappear. The sound stage will open up to become better focused, more transparent. Harmonics will be cleaner, clearer and the dynamics will be faster and sharper, without harshness.
All the parts in the Walker Audio High Definition Links Reference Plus are designed and built to proprietary specifications for Walker Audio. The wiring and the spade connectors are ultra pure silver. The components are encased in a wood enclosure to protect the components and minimize the dielectric effect and are shielded with special EMI/RFI conductive copper tape.
Application Tip:
HDLs are great to use on high-end surround sound video systems. We recommend using the Reference HDL on the main speakers and the new HDL Mark IIIs on the surround speakers. The results are absolutely remarkable. You will feel as if you are part of the action!
Installation:
Please read carefully. Correct installation is critical. Installation is very simple. High Definition Links install in parallel with your speaker cables at your speakers and are placed between the speaker cables and the binding post nut. (Not between the speaker cable and the speaker.) Click Here for a detailed diagram!
It is important to note the polarity: red to red, black to black. Do not let the copper body come in contact with the speaker cables or the binding post. If necessary, use paper tape – not electrical tape- to isolate the HDL body from the bare binding post. It will sound best if you position the HDL so that the leads extend up or down from the binding posts and the body is as far away from the binding posts as possible.
HDLs will sound best if you position the HDL so that the leads extend up or down from the binding posts with the lead side of the spade facing the speaker and the body as far away from the binding posts as possible. HDLs come with instructions and diagrams for bi-wired speakers with and without jumpers.
Biwireable Speakers – Using one set of speaker cables with jumpers: You will need one pair of HDLs and one pair of jumpers. The jumper wire is critical. We recommend our Walker Audio Silver Jumpers. They are cryogenically-treated ultra-pure silver solid-core jumpers. Your ears will love you.
Biwired and Tri-wired Speakers: One HDL required for each speaker cable. Speakers With External Crossovers: If possible, install at the speaker. Subwoofers: Benefit dramatically.
ThatÂ’s it. Allow twenty hours play time for the High Definition Links to break in properly.
Guarantee:
The High Definition Links come with a two-year parts and labor warranty against defects.
