Beethoven's String Quartet No. 9 in C major "Razumovsky" and String Quartet No. 11 in F minor "Serioso," plus Dvorak's String Quartet No. 12 in F major "American," performed by the Alban Berg Quartett. Recorded live June 15, 1989 (No. 11), June 17, 1989 (No. 9), and October 20-23, 1989 (No. 12) at the Mozart-Saal, Wiener Konzerthaus.

ESOTERIC equipment used for re-mastering
The criterion of re-mastering is to faithfully capture the quality of the original master. ESOTERIC's flag ship D/A converters, model Grandioso D1X, Master clock generator model Grandioso G1X and ESOTERIC MEXCEL interconnect cables and power cords, were all used for this re-mastering session. This combination of highly advanced technology greatly contributed to capturing the high-quality sound of the original master.
