Beck returns with Ride Lonesome, a striking new chapter from one of modern music's most inventive artists. Built around intimate acoustic arrangements, cinematic strings and richly textured production, the music recalls the emotional depth of Sea Change and the Grammy® Award-winning Morning Phase while looking confidently toward new creative territory.

Rather than revisiting the kaleidoscopic pop of Colors or the electronic experimentation of Hyperspace, Ride Lonesome embraces a more reflective and organic sound. Warm acoustic guitars, spacious arrangements and understated performances place Beck's songwriting at the forefront, creating an album that feels timeless, immersive and unmistakably his own. Early reactions from longtime fans have highlighted its clear connection to the sonic world of Sea Change and Morning Phase, two albums widely regarded among the strongest in Beck's remarkable catalog.

Mixed by Nigel Godrich and built around warm acoustic instrumentation, expansive sound staging and exceptional dynamic range, Ride Lonesome is particularly well suited to the One Step audiophile process. Sourced from the original 24-bit/96kHz high-resolution masters, every nuance—from the natural resonance of acoustic guitars and strings to Beck's intimate vocal performances—is presented with remarkable clarity, depth and realism. Pressed as a DSS One Step Audiophile edition, this release delivers an exceptionally immersive listening experience, revealing the music with breathtaking detail, lifelike presence and remarkable fidelity.

The Definitive Sound Series (DSS) meticulous One-Step process creates the definitive sounding audiophile version of albums. Beck Ride Lonesome was mastered from 24-bit / 96kHz high resolution original vinyl files.

This DSS version is limited to a pressing of 3,000 numbered copies, includes a top-quality heavyweight tip on single pocket gatefold jacket and is housed inside a uniquely designed slipcase.

Special care has been taken to faithfully preserve the original sound with exceptional clarity and depth, capturing the recordings nuances at every step, in order to create the definitive sounding record.

The One-Step process is highly regarded among audiophiles and collectors for its unparalleled sound fidelity and represents the pinnacle of vinyl manufacturing and the listening experience.
