Catch a Fire, Bob Marley and the Wailers' seminal first release on Island Records, is re-issued to celebrate the 50th Anniversary of its original release in 1973. The album is regarded as one of the greatest, most important and influential albums, across all genres, of all time.

The 3LP+12" black vinyl package contains:

LP1 – The studio album

LP2 – Live at The Paris Theatre London (previously only ever bootlegged)

LP3 – Alternate, extended and instrumental Jamaican versions of "Slave Driver," "400 Years," "No More Trouble" and "Stop That Train"

12" – 3 tracks live from the Sundown Theatre in Edmonton, North London. With an etched image of the iconic Zippo lighter illustration on the reverse.

Marley would continue to achieve great critical and commercial success during the 1970s, but Catch a Fire is one of the finest reggae albums ever. This album is essential for any music collection.
-Vik Iyengar, AllMusic, 5/5
The boxed set includes a disc of alternate takes of the album tracks — including some only issued in Jamaica — but the jewel is live recording of the band in London, tearing up the stage of the Paris Theatre with poise and collective strength.
-Robert Ham, Paste Magazine
