1977 Live Show On DVD 2 Disc Set!
Bob Marley & The Wailers perform live at the Rainbow Theatre in London on the final night of their 1977 tour in support of the Exodous album.
The Exodous Tour began at the Pavillon de Paris, Porte de Pantin in Paris, France, on Tuesday, May 10, 1977, and involuntarily ended with four shows at the Rainbow Theatre in London in early June; actually there were six shows planned to be performed in London, but the last two shows had been cancelled due to Bob Marley's serious toe injury he received in a friendly football game with French journalists just before the tour's start in Paris. Subsequently, the tour's second leg in the United States had first been postponed and then definitely cancelled.
Also included is the award-winning 100-minute documentary Caribbean Nights, which traces the life of Bob Marley with interviews from family and friends, and features rare archival footage of Bob Marley. This program captures the feel and timelessness of the music and the man.
