Trippy 1971 Album On 180g Clear Vinyl LP!
Clear vinyl reissue of Brainticket's Cottonwoodhill, originally released in 1971. Cottonwoodhill - their debut album - immediately ran into controversy for its association with psychedelic drugs. The album came with a warning label that insisted you should "only listen once a day to this record. Your brain might be destroyed," which led to the album being banned in several countries including the USA.
Cottonwoodhill is one of the trippiest records ever made, capturing the intensity of the peak LSD experience far more successfully than any Timothy Leary recording, and even today, when many such documents from that era can sound silly and dated, Brainticket's fascinating debut still holds hallucinogenic potency.
