Originally released by Polydor in December 1977, Before and After Science marks Brian Eno's last foray into rock music for the 1970s as a solo artist, with all his remaining albums of the decade showcasing a more avant-garde and ambient music approach.

Astralwerks Records presents a limited edition deluxe gatefold heavyweight vinyl of Before and After Science, now spread over two 180g vinyl discs, playing at 45 RPM and Half-Speed Mastered by Miles Showell at Abbey Road Studios.

Musical contributors include Phil Collins and Percy Jones from Brand X, Jaki Liebezeit from Can, Moebius & Roedelius from Cluster / Harmonia and Robert Wyatt. It features 10 songs including the single Kings Lead Hat, which is generally accepted to be Brians homage to then-emerging Talking Heads.

High resolution mastering from the best known sources and half-speed cutting were supervised by Miles Showell at Abbey Road Studios. Each album contains an Obi strip, Limited time Download Voucher and Abbey Road Half Speed Master certificate.
