Amazing Classic Sounds Spectacular

The red book version is as good as some SACDs, and, therefore, I was skeptical the SACD would be an improvement; but this SACD far surpasses my red book: More deep and mid bass, more sizzle, more dynamics, more definition, clarity, “swing”; Adderley’s sax is more melodic, fluid, and present. This is one of the greatest jazz albums. Never sounded better on my system. Klipschorns, McIntosh tubes, etc.
