This is where you'll find what's on the way: upcoming vinyl records, SACDs, CDs, Blu-ray audio and reel-to-reel tapes, ready to pre-order. Titles are added all the time, from rock and pop and jazz to classical and film and game soundtracks.

What You'll Find Here

  • Audiophile reissues: new pressings from Analogue Productions (including the Atlantic 75 Series), Mobile Fidelity and other labels collectors follow.
  • Limited and numbered editions: many special editions are pressed in a fixed quantity, so ordering early lessens the chance of missing out.
  • Heavyweight and 45 RPM vinyl: 180 gram LPs and 45 RPM sets.
  • New albums and anniversary editions: fresh releases alongside expanded and remastered classics.

Spotlight: Boston's 50th Anniversary Edition from Impex Records

Impex Records, our own audiophile label, is working directly with Tom Scholz on a 50th anniversary edition of Boston's debut, mastered by Chris Bellman at Bernie Grundman Mastering and including a selection of the band's legendary "lost" demos. It's coming in three versions: a numbered limited edition on Pearl Gold vinyl (2,500 copies, one per customer), a standard 180g LP, both with a bonus 45rpm 12" EP, and a Hybrid SACD. It's expected in the second quarter of 2027.

How Pre-Orders Work at Elusive Disc

  • Ship ahead or ship complete: if your order mixes in-stock items and pre-orders, you choose. Ship ahead and we send the in-stock items right away, with pre-orders following when they arrive at an additional shipping cost, or ship complete and everything goes out together once the last title is in.
  • Card payments: card orders are pre-authorized, and the funds are only captured when we ship.
  • Free shipping: the free shipping offer is based on in-stock items, so later pre-order shipments use our regular rates.
  • Flexible: you can add or remove pre-order items, and we'll contact you before shipping a pre-order that has been waiting a long time.
