All in-stock orders are shipped within one to two business days (most ship within one business day). Funds will not be withdrawn from your Credit Card account until we ship your order! (Unless you have chosen to ship all items at once, in which case we will withdraw funds from your credit card account for the items that are in stock now we are holding for you.)
ORDER CONFIRMATION AND SHIPPING
When you place an on-line order with us, you will be able to select your shipping method and payment options. We accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover/Novus and American Express.
When your order has been submitted, you will automatically receive an Order Confirmation email containing an order recap. When your package ships, you will receive a Shipping Confirmation. This will provide you the shipping method, tracking number and order total. Once you have received it, you can track your package on-line and/or you can use our enhanced order tracking feature on our webstore.
PAYPAL POLICY - We Accept Paypal Worldwide!
For Paypal orders on the web, the following criteria MUST be met:
• Shipping addresses must match your Paypal confirmed address.
• All domestic USA orders over $750 will be sent with signature confirmation required.
If you choose to pay via Paypal E-Check, your order will be shipped once the E-Check is cleared. (Typically 3-4 business days)
Paypal Refunds will be accepted within 30 days only. See Return Policy for further details on how to return an item.
Shipments are almost always received within the allotted time-frame given on our webstore. We encourage you to choose shipping methods that have tracking capabilities built-in. FedEx ground/air for domestic/international shipments and USPS Domestic Mail and Priority Mail International feature detailed order tracking. Please note that if you live in Hawaii/Alaska, USPS Media Mail transit times can take up to an additional 4 weeks.
If you choose any USPS domestic mail shipping method and your order is less than $200, your order will not be insured unless specifically requested by you. If not insured and your order is lost or delayed, we will not be held responsible or be obligated in any way to replace the items for you.

When international customers place an order on our webstore, the store will now be able to calculate a shipping charge for you. You will receive your shipping options that are available to your location. It's now easier than ever before, just pick the method you want and you'll know right then and there how much it is. IMPORT SHIPMENT CHARGES
There can be fees associated with importing shipments into your country. Duties, taxes, etc can be levied against the declared value of the goods. We recommend you check with your country's regulations if you have any concerns or questions about this.
Occasionally, we will run out of stock on certain items. If this happens, it will be noted on the item's availability status field located below the item's picture. Most out of stock items are restocked within 7-10 days or they are Pre-Order items. We encourage you to order now which ensures the quickest delivery and lessens the chance of missing out on items that have limited availability. If you choose to place an order with both in-stock and out of stock items (such as Pre-Orders), WE WILL SHIP ALL IN STOCK ITEMS IMMEDIATELY.
Back-Orders/Pre-Orders older than 60 Days will be contacted before product is shipped. You may add or delete items from your Back-Orders/Pre-Orders as desired -or- if you place a new order we will automatically combine any Back-Orders/Pre-Orders that are now in stock with your new order to save you money on shipping costs. Back-Orders/Pre-Orders within 60 days will ship out automatically. We do have the option of holding the entire order until everything is ready to ship (if your Back-Orders are not Pre-Orders). We will do this, but we require payment for all in-stock items we are holding. Please email firstname.lastname@example.org to request this service for your order.
Record prices may scare you. Obscure titles tip the scale at over $300. To combat the malevolent state of affairs you need either a six figure income or a very understanding wife! Those with neither should consider the used record. It is sold at 40% to 50% discount and comes with a 100% guarantee. Additionally, we have gone to the utmost trouble in time and expense to make buying used records acceptable to anyone!
We do it by play grading: We hire an audiophile/musician to play-grade each disc. Those retailing for $30 & above are auditioned song by song, front to back. Other albums receive a stringent 5 to 7 minute examination. The result: 40%-60% of all used records tested (including those from other dealers) are discarded. Only LPs good enough for our own collection become inventory . . . & we are quite fussy. All Used LPs are 100% guaranteed!
All of our shipments are carefully packaged and visually inspected prior to leaving our warehouse. We apologize if you have received a defective item or one that might have been damaged in shipment. Elusive Disc stands behind our products and we will happily replace them with a direct replacement (no substitutions) within 30 days of your date of receipt.
Prior to returning any item to Elusive Disc you must call or e-mail for an RMA# (Return Merchandise Authorization number). Returns sent to us without an RMA# will not be accepted. If a return is necessary you must obtain an RMA# within 30 days of receipt of your purchase. Elusive Disc must receive the returned package within 15 days of issuing the RMA#. If the item has not been returned 30 days after issue of an RMA#, all sales are final. Defective music can only be exchanged for the same title if available. If not available or customer refuses the same item a store credit will be applied instead. Consumables (cleaning fluids, etc.) and phono cartridges are non-returnable unless defective, and then for exchange only. In the case of phono cartridges, your cartridge must be returned and deemed defective by the manufacturer before it will be exchanged. If you would like a replacement shipped immediately, Elusive Disc will charge you for the replacement item and issue a credit upon receipt of the defective or damaged item.
Your return package must include the following: an RMA#, a note detailing the reason for the return, all original packing materials (including cables, power supplies, instructions, remote controls, warranty cards, etc.), and must arrive in resalable condition. If these instructions are not followed your return will not be accepted.
Elusive Disc strongly recommends sending your return package via UPS or FedEx so it can be insured and tracked (this is especially important with heavy, fragile, and more expensive items). If a return is sent via US Mail (and not insured), then the customer accepts all responsibility if the package is lost, stolen, or damaged in transit. Elusive Disc is not liable for any uninsured packages.
- Items damaged in shipment
If an item is damaged in shipment, you must save all packaging and notify us immediately (within 1 business day)! We will process a claim with the shipper and ship a replacement item to you. We will inform you what steps must be taken with your damaged item/package within 24 business hours after contacting us.
- Defective Items*
Elusive Disc will provide a return shipping label for all USA customers for any defective item. We will only send 1 label per shipment. Return label will be sent with a replacement item or prior via email depending up on the situation.
Shipping costs for returning the defective item to Elusive Disc is the responsibility of the customer for International customers. Elusive Disc will return the replacement item(s) to you at no shipping cost (if you are in the contiguous 48 US states) on a future shipment. Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, Guam, FPO, APO and International customers will receive an equivalent saving on return shipping as domestic US customers (Amount to be determined by weight of shipment).
*Please note that if defective merchandise proves upon testing at Elusive Disc to be non-defective, a re-stocking fee will be charged at Elusive Disc’s discretion.
- Canceled Items
Canceled items include: unopened music and/or accessories and equipment returned on our 30-day return policy. As stated above: Consumables (cleaning fluids, etc.) and phono cartridges are non-returnable unless defective, and then for exchange only. Return shipping is the responsibility of the customer. If the customer was given free shipping on the initial shipment, the customer is responsible for the shipping cost both to and from the customer's address. Your package must arrive in resalable condition and be returned with all original packing materials (including cables, power supplies, instructions, remote controls, warranty cards, etc.). Fluids, pastes, aerosols, special order items, and close-out items are all non-returnable.
If you refuse delivery on any shipment for any reason, or the shipper cannot reach you and it comes back to us, you will be financially responsible for the return shipping charges incurred to us by the carrier. You also will be financially responsible for any duties and taxes incurred for the return shipment. These charges will either be deducted from any credit you were to receive or charged to your credit card.
