Double 180g LP Combines Three Original Albums in 1 Set! Includes Revisited, Bad But Beautiful, & The Romantic Eartha!
Eartha Kitts life was one of the more fascinating and uniquely American stories in popular music. Born in 1927 in South Carolina to an African-American and Cherokee mother and a, presumed, white father whose identity has never been confirmed. She was a talented actress and dancer, but Kitt is perhaps best remembered for her distinctive voice. Herewith three original albums with Revisited (1960) the studio album and all songs had been previously recorded by Eartha Kitt, between 1953 and 1958. Maurice Levine conducted the Orchestra. The second one 1962s Bad But Beautiful. Assisted by the legendary arranger, Billy May, Kitt works her way through 12 classic numbers here in the sultry and swinging manner that she is famous for. The last one is Eartha Kitt with Tony Osborne and His Orchestra The Romantic Eartha (1962) featuring Ive Got You Under My Skin, Solitude, Happiness Is A Thing Called Joe And More.
