Limited Edition Deluxe Anniversary Issue!
Remastered Yellow Vinyl LP With Bonus 7" Single on Clear Vinyl & 2 CDs!

Legendary Quad-Cities power-pop band EINSTEIN’S SISTER has remastered their critically acclaimed album, Learning Curves for a limited edition pressing on yellow-colored vinyl.

The band features Andrew Brock (bass), Bill Douglas (vocals), Marty Reyhons (drums, percussion), Kerry Tucker (vocals, guitars), and Steven Volk (guitar, backing vocals).

Co-produced by Tom Tatman (Greg Brown, Tripmaster Monkey, House Of Large Sizes), Learning Curves was recorded at Catamount Recording in Cedar Falls, Iowa, and at Real Trax Studios with the late Rob Cimmarusti in Davenport, Iowa.

On its initial CD release, Learning Curves brought Einstein’s Sister national attention through online sales on Amazon, CD Baby and Not Lame Records. Songs from the album were featured in television programming on MTV ("Undressed," "Making The Video," "Road Rules," "Live Through This"), NBC ("Passions") and the Oxygen Network.

"Learning Curves is genius pop that sounds like early Elvis Costello taking tea with Squeeze’s Glenn Tilbrook while Lennon and McCartney fuss over the scones in the kitchen." – John M. Borack, Goldmine Magazine

"Einstein’s Sister takes the best of New Wave-era British pop and update it for late-90’s American power-pop audience to stunning results." – Jason Damas, AllMusic Review

From liner notes:
"Put simply, "Learning Curves" is one of the great lost indie pop albums of the '90s, brimming with song after song of melodic goodness from Bill Douglas, Kerry tucker and company, with passionate lead vocals, ace instrumentation (big kudos to drummer Marty reyhons), and sparkling production bringing the tunes to life. And what tunes! Bookended by the fab 1-2 power pop punch of "Jealous Time" (on the short list of my fave songs of the past couple of decades) and "Memory waiting To Heppen", there's also a bit o' country here, a sweet ballad there, an awesome acoustic ditty (No Laughing Matter" can be seen as a darker cousin to the Beatles' "I've Just Seen a Face"), and a boatload of other wonderful numbers that I was pleased to reacquaint myself with when I listened to the album (six time in a row, no joke) recently.

"Learning Curves is something of an irresistble record, really, and one that I love like a long lost friend. If you've never had the pleasure of hearing it before now, I know you'll be more than pleased to make its acquaintance. If you love it like I do, then this slab of vinyl is a most welcome treat. Dig it and dig in!"
- John M. Borack, Contributing Editor, Goldmine Magazine
