The title track for this 1971 release was written for Long John Baldry, a long-time friend of Elton John's. Elton's fourth album finds him playing the piano and no other keyboards. This would be the first of many albums by Elton featuring Davey Johnstone as guitarist.

Besides the title track, this album also features two of his most famous songs "Tiny Dancer" and "Levon".
